Terms of service
Last updated: July 2026
The short version: every project runs on a signed, fixed-price Statement of Work. These terms cover the basics that apply to everything we do.
Who we are
Code & Craft Digital is a web development studio based in Cairo, Egypt, providing website, web application, e-commerce, and digital marketing services to clients internationally.
Engagements and scope
Every project is governed by a written Statement of Work (SoW) that defines scope, deliverables, price, and timeline. The SoW is the authoritative agreement for a project; these terms fill in anything the SoW doesn't cover. Work outside the SoW is quoted separately before we do it.
Payment
Unless the SoW says otherwise: 50% to start, 50% on launch. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. International clients pay in USD via wire or Wise; Egyptian clients may pay in EGP via InstaPay or bank transfer. Late invoices pause work.
Intellectual property
On receipt of final payment, you own the code and assets we produced for your project — the repository is transferred to your GitHub. We retain the right to reuse generic, non-client-specific techniques and libraries, and (unless you ask otherwise) to show the work in our portfolio.
Warranties and liability
We fix defects in our work reported within 30 days of launch at no charge. Beyond that, services are provided as-is; our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid for the project in question. We're not liable for third-party services (hosting, payment gateways, APIs) we don't control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless a signed SoW specifies otherwise.
